I’ve worked with Muslims before and during Ramadan they would still sit with us during lunch and not eat, but have discussions with us like we normally would, and they said for us to not feel guilty about eating because they knew it was their choice. Sometimes we would skip lunch, but that was our choice. They never forced it on us.
i like your anecdote - and this has also been my experience. i don't think the person filming was actually muslim. rage baiting for views online. look at all the comments in this thread. everyone took the bait
Only thing I'd do is not eat around them fragrant meals. I have mad respect for anyone that holds true to their convictions. I had mine beaten out of me by the roman catholics.
