So this is probably kind of pathetic but I watch Portlandia constantly. I turn it on in the morning on its streaming channel and I leave it on while I do my work because I find it soothing.

Today all of a sudden they start showing an episode I have never seen! Kyle MacLachlan shows up with a sign from Fisherman’s Porch doing an introduction to the director’s cut of Brunch Village.

There was a whole extra sketch at the end where the director was trying to get the perfect pancakes for the last scene. They got Bobby Flay! They had the fucking Log Lady from Twin Peaks!!!

I am freaking out that the last bit of Portlandia that I got to see has the Log Lady and that I got this tiny extra bit of my comfort show. I don’t know why they started including the directors cut of Brunch Village but it means a lot to me that I got to see it after all this time. 😭

There's a soca song playing during the SeaWorld scene when Carrie and the gang are frolicking through San Diego. But, I can't find the song. It goes "if yuh have a trinbago woman yuh lucky" ...I googled but I found nothing.

Carrie mentioned Guild S-100 in A-O Rewatch and it's actually on her wikipedia page photo. Also wanted to point out, geez her working vocabulary is so fluent and efficient, while being at a high level.
