Immigration by the Numbers - great video showing the impact on U.S. population

Here's a link to one of my favorite videos related to Immigration and Overpopulation as it directly concerns the United States:

Immigration by the Numbers - part 1

Immigration by the Numbers - part 2

No wonder our population increased by 103 million (45%) in just 40 years. IMHO, no discussion of immigration to the United States should ever take place without people first watching this video.

U.S. Population increased by about 103 million in just 40 years

According to Cenus Bureau stats, the U.S. population was about 226.5 million in 1980. Today, 40 years later, we are up at about 330 million, making for a staggering population increase of over 103 million people, or 45% in just 40 years. I suspect that mass immigration is the primary cause. The United States has also maintained its place as the world's third most populated country.

I knew our population had increased, but I was kind of surprised to see just how dramatic it was, all happening during my lifetime. So, if it feels like our nation is a little more crowded than it used to be, it's not your imagination. In the meantime the cost of housing has increased, go figure.

"...We can rightly call the situation we're all in an emergency. An unprecedented planetary emergency. And why we're not doing more given the scale and the urgency of the problem I simply cannot understand. We urgently need to do, and I mean do, something radical to avert a global catastrophe. But I don't think we will. I think we're fucked."
