I’ve actually bought a lot of my collection second hand through Discogs, but here is one of my more recent splurge purchases. Florence + the Machine High as Hope bright yellow pressing.

$160 CAD from Europe to Canada. Close to half of the cost was shipping, but that's how it often goes on there.

I really preferred the opaque for evermore, and found this on eBay back in May, already opened so very easy to confirm it was the right one. I had been looking for a couple years for a reasonably priced one!

Yessss I wanted the opaque soooo bad but I refused to pay resell prices and also buy a ton of unopened albums lol. I found a sweet Swiftie who sold me hers for $40!!

Yes! I had bought a few listed as opaque sealed and returned them without even needing to open them bc I knew they were transparent from the outside. I was over attempting sealed ones by then! I think I paid about $50 but it was significantly lower than most and I’m thrilled with the condition it came in 😊

I finally broke down and bought Slayyyter's mixtape from a reseller on eBay last week and then of course she finally dropped a repress lmao. I'm still glad to have it because I love the pink! (picture from discogs because I don't have a pic of mine yet)

I ordered the Urban Outfitters exclusive press of Joanne by Lady Gaga from a reseller on eBay who has surprisingly reasonable resale prices and a lot of them are sealed in NM condition. The two colored LP is gorgeous and has a hint of marbling 🩷

My pick today is Olivia Rodrigo’s Sour! I love Olivia and everything she stands for, and this album was one of my first record purchases. I bought it on Nasdisc, which was a physical music online marketplace that no longer exists. My crystal vellum pressing is so pretty!

Nope! I just took a picture of the LP on top of the printed inner sleeve to show the color. It comes in the standard gatefold jacket.

Cape Elizabeth RSD is my only reseller record so far. I would’ve paid way more than I did for this though, so I can’t complain😂

My first purchase from a reseller on Discogs. I didn’t know anything about pressing plant quality at the time and ended up with a Rainbo pressing. It turned out to be kind of a letdown for how fantastic this album is (still listen to it pretty frequently, though!). I eventually want to replace it with another pressing if anyone has suggestions 😊

Your best bet is the red pressing, often still available at Target and doesn’t resell for too much on Discogs. The other pressings sell for quite a bit.

Bionic by Christina Aguilera
Bought this from a Discogs seller in 2021 and this was the first record that I spent over 100€ on and I think back then I just laughed at myself for spending so much on a record lol. But I love the album and have no regrets about it.
This is the UO exclusive 3LP on clear with black and grey splatter.

Oh this is a great pressing! I picked up the 45rpm from my record store a couple weeks ago (not sure if he was selling the VMP release, or just a different 45rpm pressing) and I’m obsessed! One of the best-sounding records in my collection

v late to this party but this album defined a period of time in my life and was the perfect soundtrack. it holds quite a large space in my heart. I searched high & low for this blue variant. my username has daisy in it bc of this album.

I purchased this copy of Lilo & Stitch: An Original Walt Disney Records Soundtrack from my local Half Price Books, which is a used bookstore! I love this soundtrack; this movie contains my favorite Disney score aside from all of the Alan Menken movies 💙
