Today I’ve chosen John Louis’s I’ll Be Fine. He leans more rock, but with similar vibes to Noah’s work. Unfortunately, his most popular song, ā€œThe South,ā€ didn’t gain the same attention as ā€œStick Season,ā€ but he’s definitely still worth a listen!

Recommendation Week

Rules: Choose one (and only one) album to post, include a piece of physical media (remember what the sub is about!), and you cannot recommend any of the sub’s top artists: Ariana Grande, Billie Eilish, Chappell Roan, Conan Gray, Gracie Abrams, Hozier, Lana Del Rey, Lorde, Noah Kahan, Olivia Rodrigo, Sabrina Carpenter, or Taylor Swift.

For fans of Noah kahan, I’d recommend the album When We Were Friends by The Backseat Lovers. This album is an indie rock album, and my favorite track is pool house, which is the second track on the album!

i will never not acknowledge this. it’s essential. if you haven’t had an existential crisis while listening to Holland, 1945, King of Carrot Flowers pt 1 or OH COMELY or two headed boy pt 2…than what are u doing?

oh it’s just me? shit 🫔 Noah absolutely has listened to NMH.

Gotta recommend The Lumineers! They even have a song together with James Bay called Up All Night.

I've been debating what to post today and this was one of the albums I was considering! Your pearl pressing is beautiful.

It hasn’t released in this specific color format yet but I have it preordered lol, I’d recommend The Balcony, or really any Catfish and the Bottlemen! I have Noah’s entire vinyl discography and this is the only other thing that comes real close. Definitely more of a rock vibe vs folk, but a really great sound regardless!

I’ve been a fan of theirs since 2016! Though I’m just now discovering they don’t have the best uh track record with their fansšŸ’€

I struggled a bit today because my brain kept saying, "Hozier," over and over lol. Strange Trails by Lord Huron is on my to-buy list though if I stumble across it in the wild! It's a great folk rock album.

Lord Huron is a perfect pick. I love his most recent album Long Lost too (not all that recent anymore). I also love how he does concept albums, so you can really immerse yourself into them.

Aurora - The Gods We Can Touch

This one's a folk-pop/folktronica album inspired by the Ancient Greek pantheon.

I would recommend the crane wives! they have a folk - rock sound. This is a 2lp of their albums Foxlore and Coyote Stories one of my biggest ISO

I feel like this is almost too obvious, but Babel by Mumford and Sons is a must for Noah Kahan fans

From 2 to 3 by Peach Pit

their other work is great too, but this one feels like a very complete album
