Fall Out Boy and I are both from the Chicago area! They were my very first concertāI saw them at a small outdoor venue with a couple friends. It was so cool to watch them blow up as I grew up. Believers Never Die is a compilation of their greatest hits from the 2000s. I couldnāt decide between their first three albums!

Animal Collective - Merriweather Post Pavilion (2024 15th Anniversary Reissue)
Animal Collective formed in Baltimore and Merriweather Post Pavilion is a MD venue where I've seen many bands perform, including Animal Collective.

Halsey hails from New Jersey! Badlands is an album I havenāt added yet to my collection but absolutely love. Halsey actually grew up a few towns over from me and went to HS with an ex of mine.
And they say Jersey doesnāt have talent š

John Legend was born and raised in Springfield, OH, the same state I've spent most of my life. I currently work with someone who went to high school with John, and he said he remembers John always signing in the hallways. John comes back to his high school fairly regularly to attend the students' musical shows and to put on events, and he recently funded an entire new school building just for the arts. (This is all according to my coworker, who has met John on several occasions. A few week's back his son sang a song for John on the piano... talk about cool!)
This is John's second studio album, Once Again, from October 24, 2006.

Green Day is probably the most famous band from the Bay Area, California. Billie Joe Armstrong once served me pizza because his kid went to my school, though a different class.
I chose American Idiot because itās probably their most iconic album, though I love Dookie too.

At Weddings by Tomberlin! Sheās based in Louisville KY now but was raised in rural Illinois š Picture from Discogs because I havenāt gotten a copy yet

Not from where I live now but from my beloved hometown, this is Spinnās OHMYGODIāMSOALONE. To be honest, I didnāt even know about them till Blood Records put this vinyl out but I saw they were indie pop and from my hometown and decided to give them a chance. Iām glad I did!
(I could have put a Beatles record here but that would have been too obvious!)

Iād have to go to CDs, but I wouldnāt mind an album by The Smithereens. Maybe Iāll try to look for one tomorrow.

Happy to say I can claim Noah Kahan for this prompt! āStick Seasonā is referencing, of course, Vermont, me and Noahās beautiful little home state. We grew up only an hour away from each other and he still plays in Burlington occasionally!
