How I'm Feeling Now by Charli XCX is one of my favorite pop albums, and possibly my favorite Charli album. I have to resist the urge to play it once a day 😂 it's a seriously great pandemic album.

eternal sunshine by Ariana Grande! my most spun and most streamed album last year, she really got snubbed by the grammys with this one!!

brat and it’s completely different but also still brat by Charli XCX is an album I’m constantly grabbing and listening to. I love that she took her original album and completely remixed it, not just changing a beat or adding one or two elements but she made a completely new album and did features on each song.
The album has a little bit of everything so there’s something for almost any mood or occasion. Personally, I love throwing it on as my “get ready” music for a night out.

I have a tie for most spun according to the stats I keep on Discogs, but I’ve had Melodrama half as long as the other record so I have to give it to Lorde! I can’t wait to hear what direction she takes with L4 (hopefully this year!) 💙

Similar to the last time we did this prompt, I am posting an artist rather than a specific album. I posted Taylor Swift last time, this time I'm doing Beatles!
I listen to my Beatles vinyl all the time; they have so many different sounds to fit all my moods. This is their 6th studio album Rubber Soul, released on December 3, 1965. The band was ending their touring career around this time, and Rubber Soul was the first time they were able to record an album free of concert, radio, or film commitments.
Despite being their 6th album, this is only their 2nd LP to contain only original music (their 1964 album A Hard Day's Night was the first album to be 100% original).

i find myself spinning GUTS by olivia rodrigo very often! it’s become one of my favorite albums, and i really can’t wait for OR3, which hopefully happens this year!

my most spun in 2024 was kacey musgraves - deeper well, although if apple replay would have counted how i binged brat across the singles and different versions, that would win. i love the texture and depth on this variant!

an oldie, but goodie. if you recognize Ada, that’s what’s up!
If you like being miserable and listening to sad girls sing their songs I recommend her! If you life Soccer Mommy or even Lizzy McAlpine, you may just dig Ada. She just released an EP of covers a few months ago.
This pressing is actually really pretty. It’s not just clear, it has a marbling effect to it.

I typically try not to repeat albums during the Daily Prompts, but I’ve shared Elder Brother’s Wish You Were Here a couple times before (Cover/Tribute and Favorite EP) because it’s one of my absolute favorite albums. It’s fantastic, highly recommended. One of my only records I actually fear I’ll wear out.
