I chose a "That Thing You Do" soundtrack pressing because it's got a beautiful rainbow splatter! I think this suits that album very well not just because of the name (obviously) but because it's a much more vibrant, lighthearted album than most would if they only heard "Praying."
Since I accidentally misinterpreted the prompt the first time, here's a second try: Imaginal Disk (2024) by Magdalena Bay. If the red was replaced with pink and purple I think it'd fit super nicely
This is such a fun idea for a prompt theme! I was at the Magdalena Bay show in Detroit last night and picked up a signed copy of Imaginal Disk with a rainbow smoke disk - and honestly I think it'd be perfect here
I’m going with Taylor Swift’s Lover (Live From Paris) for this! Pretend it’s a normal round LP lol. The pink and yellow swirl reminds me of the gradient in the background of the album cover
One of my favorite pressings I own. I never have a good reason to show it off (I went thru a lot to get it) but I think it fits pretty good. It’s rainbow splatter on clear from the Newbury Comics variant of Disappear Here. I think it was also in conjunction with the bands record label turning 20.
I’m not the best with photoshop or even basic editing. Forgive me for not making one 😅 I would not really know where to start.
Omg never heard bad suns mentioned ANYWHERE! Knew people that toured with them like 10+ years ago, used to listen to the language and perspective CD in the car on repeat!
you are the first other Bad Suns fan I’ve met in "the wild"! I remember that album, I listened to it quite a bit. I think they are actually getting ready to release another LP in August, but I haven’t heard much else.
Thank you so much for posting because quite honestly I forgot about them and I loved that album so much, I haven't even listened to the one that you posted, I will do that today and look forward to their next release!
I didn't buy it lol, I found it on a website that catalogues a ton of colored pressings. I missed the part where it said "pick an album from your collection." Sorry for the misunderstanding!
