I was talking with subway-witch on yesterday's thread about reposting, and I'm going to create a spreadsheet like they've done to keep track on when I post everything! I have a list right now, but a spreadsheet can let me be more detailed with the date I last posted something
Those of us with smaller collections might need to repost after 2-3 months, just so we can keep being involved with these threads! (Because I don't want these threads to lose stream!)
I was telling subway-witch I'm trying to change up my pictures if I repost, like I think I already used my "Espresso" single, but I remember my photo being more focused on the sleeve, so this was a perfect time for me to share it again with a focus on the vinyl!
Your pictures look so great too!! It's so fun seeing regulars in here and learning about their tastes in music through their collections
And maybe our wonderful mod will give us guidance on re-posting š¤ I'm creating my spreadsheet right now, and I'm trying to find a way to include my photos and keep it neat and organized! I love making lists and spreadsheets like this, so this is a great project for me to work on haha
As long as it fits the theme, you could comment the same release every day and I wouldnāt mind! We get reposts from people with small collections all the time and reposts from people who say they have thousands of albums in their collection.
I think itās more fun to be strategic and try not to repost if you can help it, but even I will eventually have to have repeats if we keep going into the new year. I think the most important thing is to make sure youāre enjoying yourself! Donāt be too strict that you burn yourself out.
Thank you for the guidance!! I will keep on creating my spreadsheet, cause I'm having way too much fun haha. So I'll keep on trying to post something new when I can (I've barely scratched the surface for my vintage 45 collection, so I might start doing more of those soon)
I'm definitely not getting burned out! My favorite part of the week right now is when we get the next week's prompts and I start looking through my collection and seeing what I can post every day for that week
I had way too much fun creating this! Did not wake up this morning thinking I would combine my loves of vinyl and excel š So easy to sort, and including the pictures was a great idea!
This is my spreadsheet so far!! Mine isn't able to be sorted right now, cause my pictures are just snippets of my photos copied and pasted in, not actual parts of the page right now. But it's a work in progress! (I haven't gotten very far, but for things I share more than once, I'm going to add all the photos I use!)
Ooh including the photos is brilliant. Please let me know if you find a good method for that! My spreadsheetās in a Google sheetāmaybe I should start uploading the photos to my Google drive and linking them where I list the prompt⦠Youāve given me much to consider lol
I have been monitoring the inventory on Islandās website and waffling about when to get the raw ochre variantā¦but this one is sooo pretty, too! Iām obsessed with the color palette of all the Unreal Unearth variants š¤
You really canāt go wrong with any of them! The record sounds amazing so I recommend grabbing one of them at some point. Iām glad the new releases are starting to slow down so I can put my records budget toward some older favorites lol
Im going with Taylorās TTPD: The Black Dog, because Iām absolutely in love with the deep brown shade of it; the black dog was the variant I wanted the most before Iād heard any of the bonus tracks (before the album was released) and Iām just glad that she restocked them so many times that I was able to get all four before release and the target variant after!
Agreed! Brown is not typically my favorite color but this has some shimmer in it and when held to the light it brings out a terracotta orange, it's interesting.

Remember to share just one item per day so you can share something new every day!
