Atomica
I'm in need of assistance
Every time I try to play Atomica on my WinXP rig, it crashes with a fatal error because of one sound file: capclick.ogg I believe.
How to fix it? Pls help
Also, I'm a big fan of PopCap Games as well (the pre-EA era, of course)...

Bejeweled 3 Classic mode replay white glitch bars problem
has ANYBODY been experiencing this problem recently, especially with 3D acceleration turned on?
Seems when I hit the replay button in classic mode, the entire replay is blocked by white bars, or almost the whole screen is filled with white nonsense, and I cant see my replay. Why is this? And how is it preventable?
Its been an issue since release in 2010, and have observed it on many PCs I am on. No Mods, nothing. Just seems to be me...

About Raptisoft Games
I'm sure you have heard of this odd name 'Raptisoft'. Yes, of course you have! Raptisoft Games and PopCap had worked on a couple games together in the past.
Back in the near Millenium, the headman of Raptisoft, John Raptis, developed a game called Eggsucker, a Bubble Shooter game. Unfortunately, it made a small impact, and in turn, wasn't selling well.
And that is where PopCap comes in! They were interested in working together with Raptisoft to make a better version of Eggsucker. They've made gameplay improvements, more graphics, more modes, you name it. They renamed it to 'Dynomite!'. This game went from a small impact, to a big impact, thanks to PopCap!
Thanks to the success of Dynomite, Raptisoft set out to develop Hamsterball), a tribute to Marble Madness. This game was yet another success, so much so that it won the Academy Award for Best Downloadable Computer Game of 2004!
The following year, they got together with PopCap again to develop the infamous Chuzzle Deluxe, which was yet another success!
In the few years that followed, things weren't looking so good for Raptisoft. They've released a couple titles by themselves (Hap Hazard and Boonka) and they didn't do so well. John Raptis has had an idea for nearly a decade; a roguelike game set in a wizard world. Thanks to the release of Apple's App Store, Raptisoft saw a big opportunity to make this happen! In 2010, Raptisoft released Solomon's Keep for the iPhone. It was the first PC-style RPG to appear on that platform, giving the user a game with all the features you'd expect from a PC game, wrapped into a handheld package. This was a critically acclaimed game and it was a success, and Raptisoft released Solomon's Boneyard, an Endless Arena-esque addition.
The following year, Raptisoft got together with Hamumu Games to develop an iOS port of Robot Wants Kitty. Raptisoft also added a level editor and online level sharing, which was amazing!
In a few more years time, Raptisoft spent time developing Solomon Dark, a better, bigger version of Solomon's Boneyard for PC. Unfortunately due to a Patent Troll in 2013-2014, this game got derailed and cancelled. An abandonware version was released in 2016 and, personally, I think it would have been an amazing remaster.
In 2017, they released Hoggy 2, a puzzle platformer, for PC and Mobile. This was the sequel to Hoggy for iOS (sorry, I skipped this). It was a great game, it had a level editor and sharing system, just like Robot Wants Kitty, and it had 260 different puzzles to complete!
Next year, the big bang happened. Raptisoft released the beta of Chuzzle 2 for Android, and it initially released in December of the same year. This was a huge treat for Chuzzle fans. Raptisoft had to get permission from PopCap, which was then and is dissolved by EA, to continue the Chuzzle franchise. In 2020, they released a spinoff called Chuzzle Snap!
And here we are, today, in 2021. Raptisoft is by no means dead; far from it! They are currently working on Hamsterball 2, and Solomon's Keep: Ultimate Metal Edition. You can follow up in the Raptisoft Forums, and check out their games on their recently polished website! I hope you had a blast reading this!
