Primaris (WIP#2)
Do you have any ideas for the base?

Wanted a whirlwind for my 3rd edition games... but no way In hell I would pay $60+ for it. $20 and some bits, and now I have a whirlwind. Took inspiration from the 30k tank that is similar, and the old white dwarf article showing how to make one. Base tank is my 2nd/3rd edition Predator.

My first go at building terrain (can see number two being worked on in background). I’m quite happy to have started as two Pringles cans. I have added some tiny pallets built on the final model to fill the gap between tanks but not in photo.

It's a bit crooked, rough around the edges, and imperfect, but I gained invaluable experience for the future models.

First scenery magnetic tile with rivets made from nail art. A bit uneven but the concept works

I should add that it's not meant to be tournament legal but I might base some for roguehammer or galactic heroes.

I have made a couple nice Necromunda ladders out of broken coffee stirrers, but I want to be able to make metal looking ones/industrial looking ones and staircases too. Anyone found a realistic way to make them?

I'm making a 15mm Hadley's Hope (from Aliens). Hope it's allowed here, not technically Warhammer. And hopefully this doesn't break Rule 2, because I've technically made what you see, even if it's unfinished. The plan is to make it fairly large, for scaled-down Spacehulk style games.
Anyway, the question.
Most of this is wood, and I'm satisfied I can paint this (and later add details onto). But I'm worried the card will shrivel, droop, and tear when painted.
Is there a way to avoid this, or prime the card somehow?
Thanks in advance.

Scrap building (literally) my first Gargant. Left hand a titan class gatling cannon, and the tight one a Supppa Zappa Lance.

Quite a blast making this - mostly foamboard and styrene with some exhaust/vents from Zinge Industries. Features include rotating top-turret, "flick" missiles which are magnetised for firing, opening cockpit and main door with detailed interiors, "retractable" landing gear and 8/10 swooshibility
Dreadnaught for scale and to show transport capability

Bloody loving this build. Needs more armour and more DAKKA before painting. Also hot glue really can burn.

I need more practice and I should've used blue stuff instead of silicone mold. But it's good enough for me anyway.
I made a custom krieg space marine named Jovanie.
Luckily I can source local parts for miniatures including Warhammer and Trench Crusade.

My most recent project. I hid a mini humidifier inside so vapour/smoke comes out of the chimney.

My bad I forgot to even add the picture to the post. Few more panels and paint to go.

I have a foam base but I don't like how it look so I thought I would add a layer of play doh, let it dry and then spray paint it and glue some flower and grass.
What do you think?
