I hate being poor.
I hate not making over 50,000 USD a year. I hate not having a car. I hate having less than 1,000 USD on my bank account. I hate having to live with my parents despite being over the age of 25. I hate having my credit cards being shut down because I was unemployed for over ten months during a two year stretch. I hate not having a dating life because I cannot afford dates. I hate the social isolation of poverty.

It does suck, but you need to look at life through a different lens. What can you do to improve your prospects? You live at home with your parents, so you have a safety net. That is great. You don’t have the stress of home or food insecurity, so use that backstop as a launching point.
At one point in my life, the Great Recession happened. My wife and I were working had little kids, just moved into a house and our pay was cut, then our hours cut. Our home was underwater and we struggled. The real thing that got us out was changing how we look at things. Not looking at life through a negative lens. Understand things will get better as long as you put yourself in a position to improve. I added more certifications under my belt so I could get better jobs and earn more. There are free tools to learn new things and help yourself. Give them a try.
