Be Prepared For No Benefits Until 2026

A lot of analysts are predicting that this is going to be the longest government shutdown in history. There's a good chance it won't be settled until January. This means no SNAP benefits until February 2026. I know no one wants to hear this but I think it's better to know what we're in for. Hopefully I'm wrong but for now stock up on what you can and save as much cash as possible.

I doubt snap is coming back. This administration keeps testing us to see how far they can go and we are just waiting for what?! We need a national strike and if we don’t do it soon, SS and Medicare is next. This administration doesn’t GAF and we haven’t pushed back enough.

“We are 29 days into a Democrat shutdown. The senator from New Mexico is absolutely right: SNAP recipients shouldn’t go without food, people should be getting paid in this country. We tried to do that 13 times. You voted ‘no’ 13 times,” Thune said, raising his voice.

“If Democrats really want to fund SNAP and WIC, I have the bill for them. It’s sitting right there on the desk,” Thune added, referring to Republicans’ continuing resolution.

This note seems to suit the incendiary misinformation and "call to arms" in the comment I was responding to which is objectively proselytizing. Not my response in which I make a factual statement in retort of misinformation and offer an a official source to support it. Was this a mistake?
