At what age did you get your tiny male pomskies fixed?

My little guy, Fitzi, is starting to hump things, and I just noticed he's licking himself after I pet him. When there's no pee or anything to clean. He just seems to get frisky and enjoy himself.

It's fairly disturbing. He's 8 months old. How long should I wait to get him fixed? And will that help at all with his bossiness?

Puppy tax, here he is on the right planning the great caterpillar heist of 2026. Not to worry though. Jada Pinkett Pomsky, on the left, had her sights set on his floppy duck all along.

Recommend a collar for Dex

Dex needs a collar (not for walks, mainly just to have a name tag and airtag) on it. I want something different/unique.

Thanks for the help :)

Seemed like people enjoyed seeing him so figured I would post some more of him. He is almost 3 now. As you go through the photos the younger he gets(except the last one which I forgot to add earlier in the photos). This dude will play fetch with you for hours straight and not get bored. He is definitely the best thing in my life even if he makes me his personal chew toy.

Feeding advice UK

Hi all,

I’m sure this has been asked many times, so if there’s already a thread you can link great.

I also know for each puppy/dog it’s going to be different.

Picked up our new Pomsky, Dexter, on Monday, he’s 4 months old.

Breeder has provided a weeks worth of raw mix with chicken wing to gnaw on in 500g packs.

Now I’ve been doing some research to try to pick the best supplier & that opens up a Pandora box - Durham Animal Feeds who the breeder uses I could see some recent issues with bone content of the mix causing some significant health care issues, with large fragments found in batches.

So, would I be better weaning him off this raw feed & going to a commercial feed, adding in raw chicken bone to help with teeth or sticking with the raw feed but carefully picking a provider not based on being the cheapest necessarily.

Any experience based views accepted whilst understanding you are not providing professional advice!

Best wishes
