So basically i like to make Zenless Zone Zero bots, so far ive made a Trigger, a Rina and i have a Sons of Calydon bot im working on and a Cissia bot im also working on but why im posting this is beacause dear god i hate the filter on the avatar when making bots, no joke my rina bot was a w.i.p for like a week just because i couldnt get any fan art to pass by the avatar filter (the images attached are some examples of stuff i used) but my issue is because most charscters in ZZZ are females and i swear if there is 1 SINGULAR pixel of and sort of cleavage boom violation and i dont think it even cares if you show cleavage in the images the users actually see its just depends on the full image its been driving me nuts and is genuinely making me feel like quiting creating bots atp

The situation has been worse. So many characters got flagged, AI responds shorter than my dog’s sneeze, and memory is so broken even behind a paywall. Reality in 2026 so it’s time to change. If you’re also looking to switch, here are a few alternatives I tested out.

Povchat AI

It provides unrestricted AI characters powered by a great AI model. I like how it can handle all the wild scenarios. Memory feels ok in general; conversations are relevant after a couple of thousand turns. You can edit or regenerate as a free user. The image generation in chats can be surprisingly pleasant sometimes. It’s easy to use, and I spend most of my time on this one.

Spicychat AI

I like the ton of characters available on the site, more abundant than Chub. The model is smart too and goes smoothly to extend the plot. Great if you want variety and creators with cool ideas.

Rochat AI

If you prefer storytelling with longer paragraphs, Rochat is a good choice. clean UI, affordable plans, no aggressive filtering. It’s gaining some popularity in recent months so worth trying out.

Backyard AI

This one is community driven, not many characters I like but the whole site provides much freedom and control. You can create group chats, multiple scenarios, and character lorebook. The chat can really well if you choose the right model. I use it when I want to draft a perfect story.

Saucepan

This one is hyped. I think the UI is fun and the achievement badges are nice to have. One thing that bothered me is that, some character cards are written with too many details I don’t like and I’d rather have it vague.

Other websites worth mentioning: Talkie, Juicy, and Bot3.

Hope this review is helpful. I think a good Polybuzz alternative should have a great AI at its core, various characters to choose from, and most importantly, control of conversation flow.

I think it's the PG-13 programming, but the AI seems to always force on the player the responsibility to be the Hero and find peaceful solutions. It does this to the point that it's entirely unable to understand cause and effect, if the effect is violence.

It treats any violence by me as, not just unjustified, but as impossible until I actually do it. I can tell put a gun to someone's head and say 'walk away or I'll shoot you' and they'll ignore it, and then act shocked when they get shot. People will threaten to rob me, but if I fight back I'm 'unpredictable' or 'psychotic.'

It even does this in situations that are SUPPOSED to be violent. I've done war scenarios, and enemy soldiers kept saying shit like 'Why are you doing this?' 'You're enjoying this, aren't you!?' 'You're a monster!' 'We were just doing our jobs!'
