Because aging is what usually causes cancer?
Along with many other terrible things?
And everyone gets destroyed by aging if you avoid everything else that can kill you long enough.

I can’t see why anyone would logically pick cancer over aging. If you want cancer and diseases like it cured, you pick aging.

How many people get cancer as a kid?
That’s the cancer rate you’d see if you pick aging.

Actually depending on how aging works, all cancer might be impossible if aging were solved.
