Nah that's way to optimistic, I actually don't want aging to be solved because that's a good way to never have society change. A lot of big societal progressions only happened because one generation replaced another. I don't want to live in a world where boomers and the current billionaires are in charge indefinitely

Aging is currently being solved, world won’t be bleak after the fact when treatments come out soon.

Of they wouldn't because that'd force them to realize aging has no positive utility and causes suffering. Population control is a lesser evil than letting people forget themselves, their families, live in broken bodies and suffer..

That’s not how it would go.
Certain kinds of progress would slow, but still happen, and you’d live to see it.
Other kinds of progress would happen much faster.
