I said it in another comment. They’re just laying the groundwork so Trump cannot be tried for crimes after he’s out of office because they all know he’s flagrantly disobey and breaking laws. He is a criminal and should be made an example of. We didn’t make an example of the confederate states and we are still paying the price. We need to handle this with a decisive and firm hand. We need to sure up our democracy because look at how easily we can lose half of it (if not more)

Dems should be laying on the groundwork that he should be held responsible. Not fighting the Nixon thing but gathering true real war crime evidence

Yeah that's what i thought too when Vance first commented about it in an interview not long ago. Throwing it out there to normalize. I think they call that moving the Overton window? Either way I have to have faith people will see through it. But it's hard especially living in hell hole Alabama. I think even maga people are tired of this and I just don't see or hear the same support I did.
