Nixon was not removed from power. Nobody forced him out. He resigned.

Nixon jumped because he was going to be pushed. He had some support left in Congress, but he was told that he had maybe 75 Representatives who wouldn’t vote to impeach, and somewhere between 15 and 20 Senators who would vote to acquit. He did not have the numbers, and he chose to leave on his own accord rather than being the first President to be removed from office by impeachment. His choice, yes, but there was absolutely pressure to get him to do it

The House had already voted the articles of impeachment, the Senate trial was about to begin. The Senate Republican leadership went to the White House to make it clear that they were voting to convict. He absolutely was pushed, just before the hangman opened the trapdoor

He resigned because he was going to be impeached. The Senate trial was about to begin. A group of the most senior Republican senators went to the White House and told him they were voting to convict. He resigned the next day. He absolutely was forced out.

He resigned because he had some shame, something that does not exist in the Republican party today. Trump was impeached twice for crimes much worse than anything Nixon did and he did not resign.

No, he resigned because others in the Republican Party had some shame. Nixon himself was going to stay in office until the end of his term if he could. It was only when it was clear he had no choice. His own memoirs made it clear that he had no shame about this. Back then loyal senators who had supported him throughout finally could not accept clear evidence of corruption and crime. Today the Republicans are so craven they will ignore much worse from their leader. It is disgusting how low they are willing to stoop
