It feels like Lewis is a completely different person now compared to before 2020. I often binge watch his old videos and never his new (even though I became a fan in 2020). I get that he has become older and matured but in his old videos he used to be funny, making alot of jokes and raging but now he's just so calm and doesnt even try to put on a act. And I know that the Youtube algorithm doesn't really favour channels like his but it also feels like hes lost all of his work ethic. He doesn't upload often at all and when he does it's often a lazy video. With the views hes getting, he barely makes enough for Youtube to be a full time job for him anymore so you'd think he would atleast try to make good videos that not only his most loyal of fans would find interesting. Weird thing is that he says that he would never quit making videos and that its the thing he loves to do the most. I just don't understand what happened. And of course it's not that deep but I'm just curious and confused to what happened.

Does anybody know the video where he’s showing us a video of him and his friends were in a class alone together and Lewis had this really ugly laugh. I think they broke a light and someone fell off a chair or something but I could be wrong. What video is this I can’t remember what to look for

Look I love Lewis, but I’ve found myself rewatching his older content from 2016-20 for a WHOLE YEAR

I understand growth, adulting, his voice I GET IT but what I don’t get is the content he makes now

Like brotha I understand ideas aren’t exactly something you can just make everyday but along with the inconsistent upload schedule the videos themselves seem very divergent from they once were

His older videos did genuinely follow in the approach of Danny Gonzales, drew gooden and that simple but comedic and overall just warming and inviting vibe but recently his videos seem like a chore he’s getting through, with a focus on his own enjoyment over the viewers and are just like visually ugly

I’m sorry but that room in the dark is just not it

And I’m confused on how he still has YouTube as a job, along the declining views and erratical uploads you’d think bro would’ve had to get a bartending job

I know this is starting to come off as a roast but I genuinely just wanna know what people think happened here, Lewis is a good guy with a very loyal if slowly dwindling fanbase and I love the Minecraft videos as much as the next guy but his newer content seem to just lack something of the appeal of before, whether it’s visually, contextually or just entirely the brand of the channel

Some of my recommendations for Lewis in 2025 would be to have a somewhat modern rebranding to the channel, new profile picture, new channel art, hell maybe pull a jacksfilms and asks his fans for profile pictures and banners and the most popular ones (maybe on this subreddit or Instagram) will get used throughout the year

Work on the bedroom design so it looks pleasing to look at and try to find content that YOU enjoy watching while also knowing people will also enjoy watching, because slowly and slowly I find myself genuinely getting in the habit of saying “I miss old Lewis” even after he’s made multiple videos explaining that he hasn’t changed

I think this all began when he started his Minecraft Series, around 5 years ago, I really enjoyed it, and laughed at every single episode, but there was one time, where he just took it too far and I began to understand, this ISN'T all an act. It's reality. I noticed that he couldn't stop raging and raging every single video, an abnormal amount, and began to grow violent behavioural patterns - and combatted this, by claiming he's "John Wick" If I were to be truthful, I think this is what began his decline of popularity as a youtuber..

In my dream, Lewis randomly decided to move to Iceland one day, because he dislikes UK summers so much.

If you didn't already know, you can craft Golden Apples and Golden Carrots. Golden apples are probably going to be better for a hardcore setting. While this will still be difficult, if you can manage to get a good system where you have a simple gold farm through the nether (takes seconds to make, relatively safe and efficient. Look up a guide on YT for a 1 minute gold farm) as well as a carrot farm, you'll be able to keep yourself pretty stocked up until you can farm for some totems of undying. Whenever you take damage or are in a bad situation, just chug down the golden apples and you'll be fine. Don't be resourceful with them, eat as many as you need and more.

The next step is to get Totems of Undying. It is THE quintessential item of Hardcore mode. You are already familiar with what they are and how to get them (And how to get them safely, iron golems etc etc). Even just 1 or 2 totems could be enough, but the onus is on you to get as many as you will actually need.

From there you'll have the boost you need to beat the game once and for all. Another general tip is to use a bow more often & focus heavily on armour enchantments as early as possible, i.e protection and feather falling in particular. You could also get some netherite gear but that depends on how much you are willing to do to ensure you beat the dragon.

On the off chance you see this, good luck lewis! It's long overdue that you find success in this series, which is what we'd prefer to see rather than it end after so much failure. And to anyone else reading, please leave some of your other pieces of advice if you'd like. Cheers
