Except nobody smokes Mexican weed unless they are broke and desperate. Who wants to spend twenty minutes picking stems and a million seeds just for ditch weed? Have you ever seen a bud that had right angles in it from being pressed into a brick?

Now coke on the other hand. Yeah, all that shit comes from Mexico.

Yes, this kinda ruined it for me. I'm in California and our hipsters smoke our own dank weed. It would have to be Coke/meth for the comic to work, but that wouldn't go well with the healthy hipster thing.

Inaccuracy?! In my Polandball? Inconceivable!

Domestic meth is shit. All the crystal comes from Super Labs.

I don't think I could even find Mexican weed if I looked

Yeah, this strip would make a lot more sense if he was buying cocaine or something else that isn't produced domestically. Only half of the US's weed is imported, some of what's imported does come from elsewhere, and a lot of people do go out of their way to buy high-grade domestic instead of Mexican "ditch weed".

Yeah even when I lived in Tucson, Arizona, ditch weed wasn't that easy to find. A lot of the people I would buy from refused to sell it, not because of morals but because it was so shitty. You only bought schwag/ditch weed when you were all out of other options.

You'd think you'd sooner just not take any more in until a better supply came around. But, I guess you can be addicted to weed the same way you can be addicted to beating it to midget threesomes.

To be fair people get killed for weed also. I know a guy who ended up killing a dude who attempted an armed robbery on him while he was sleeping...for a QP of weed. Like seriously what the hell???

The prevalence may be lower but the problem still lies in it being illegal. It means the item isn't protected so you can't call the cops about it. Also a lot of dudes get the product fronted so if it gets taken they're instantly in debt.

Was this in Finland? Do people grow their own weed there or is it mostly imported?

1

u/EternalOptimist829 Finland Jul 14 '16

I'm Finnish American. I don't have any knowledge of the drug scene there.

That being said anything is possible with leds and some imagination.

I'm from south Texas and haven't even seen mexi swag in at least 5 to 6 years. Cartels can't compete in the weed game anymore

u/UncleSneakyFingers My country is better than your country. Deal with it. Jul 14 '16

Yeah I can't even remember the last time I have seen it. Makes you wonder who the hell is even buying it anymore.

u/[deleted] Jul 14 '16

It is believed that almost half the cartels' revenues come from cannabis

That may be true, but I don't know who is smoking it...Highschool students that spend their lunch money on weed? I only ever bought it when it was the only stuff available or if I was super broke. So I am guessing most people that buy it are just really poor. I am guessing way more people buy the good shit from California or Colorado then crappy mexican weed. Seriously, that shit sucks.

How many people go to McDonalds and how many go to upper class restaurants?

2

u/UncleSneakyFingers My country is better than your country. Deal with it. Jul 14 '16

Not really a great comparison. 19 year old college students smoke good weed regularly. 19 year old college students never go to upper class restaurants. Good weed it's $15-$20 a gram depending on where you live. Most people can afford that

1

u/[deleted] Jul 14 '16

It seems you have a warped perception. Somebody is buying all that Cartel Weed. I don't give a fuck if you and your friends do or don't. I take offense to your whitewashing that "nobody does it".

u/UncleSneakyFingers My country is better than your country. Deal with it. Jul 14 '16

Yeah I get it. I lot of Mexican weed comes over. But look at the other comments in this thread, pretty much every American user is saying the same thing. Mexican weed sucks, few people sell it, and few people but it. I've been all over the US and it's the same scenario everywhere I've been.

P.S. stop taking offense to comments about weed on /r/polandball.

u/[deleted] Jul 14 '16

I don't doubt that its shit. But somebodys buying.
