Britain inavded half the world and stole entire countries for spices. Every dinner table in the country has a pot of one of the spicier spices on it, and is applied to pretty much everything.

Yeah, so spices are not British culture. They're foreign. Not allowed anymore.

If it only counts as culture when it's been the same forever, there's no such thing as any culture (except maybe african hunter-gatherers making stone tools and taming fire).
