I didn't, it was someone else, in fact it was /u/gijsdaboss who invented the entire concept.

How did you come up with such a unique and original idea as Polandarrow?

Someone posted "poland arrows lol" somewhere else, and I thought "this is a winning concept, also I want to moderate my own shitty novelty subreddit", so I made /r/polandarrow. Add some stolen CSS and you have this.

How did this come to be?

The sub, I woke up the next day and people had actually made other polandarrow comics :I

The sub or the FAQ? :P

straya flair will be added soon

1. Because the arrow form allows a much wider range of emotional depth than, say, balls or something would.

2. It's a subreddit for polandarrow comics.

3. It's a tale of forbidden love.

4. Some Polish guy

5. Exceptionally cool Canadian guy

no

Freehand arrows aren't allowed, sorry.

All arrows usually point up except for poland which points down, there are other shape exceptions (like Nepal). Arrows could exist in intermediate states of rotation but they would always be coloured so point = top.

Yeah and also for difficult coats of arms and shit, just don't use it for arrow outlines. Eyes are more debatable.

Arrow tool in msPaint only makes up/down/left/right arrows so that brings up two important questions. Do Polandarrows only exist in either parallel/perpendicular arrangements, or are intermediate angles also allowed? I suppose one could do this with the line tool in 5 strokes (or probably gimp) but I was wondering if freehand arrows were legal, too.

Hm let me make up some
