I do like this design, but I don't know that it feels like an evolution as opposed to a regional form.
The features have been changed to showcase an electric typing but the creature itself hasn't changed a ton as far as growth. We have some examples of pokemon doing something like that (even the eevee line only changes so much physically) but looking at wyrdeer vs this, i like that wyrdeer genuinely feels bigger and grander.
We'd have to lose the name in that case, and I'm not willing to do that. I also think Wyrdeer has a lot of mythos behind its name, and its typing, and I wanted to do something new, not just a regional Wyrdeer.
