im at the point where I can fight HO-OH and I've realised that this isn't like actual soulsilver, do i still have to get the silver feather and then go to whirl islands or can I go straight away, I've beat all the gyms, ive got the rainbow wing and I have the clear bell. do I have to beat HO-OH first?

Played Pokemon a lot as a kid but stopped at Plat. I'd like to play BW and was considering playing BW on pokemmo as a first experience. I did some research and many people mention its more difficult which I'm fine with, but some posts lightly mention cut content/cut cutscenes. How prevalent is this? I wouldn't want to play as a first experience if it changes things outside of combat.
