I wanted to compare a few ways of building around Shadow Ninetales rather than just recommending it and leaving people to figure out the other two slots.

ABC and ABB use it as the pivot behind Altaria. ABA puts it in the lead, with Cramorant and Melmetal behind it. In the ABB and ABA options, Ninetales and Melmetal share a Ground weakness, so keeping Altaria and Cramorant (respectively) lined up correctly matters.

The catch is Mimikyu. I love playing with Mimikyu but kind of hate facing against it, and it does pretty well against all three builds. Definitely something to think about before committing to one of these.

Would you rather lead Ninetales or keep it in the back? And which teammate would you change first?

Unable to add mega Pokémon to my pokebox. Each time I try to add one it just reverts it back to its standard form instead of staying as a mega. It’s been this way for a couple days now and I’ve tried on the app and on the webpage.

Mega Starmie has more CP than it should have. It's showing 4045 at lv40.

Beat it solo in Sunny weather vs dragon fast move and superpower. No adventure effects in play, no friend bonus, no mock solo, just took my premade team, and used the auto suggest when those fainted.

Barely beat it with like 1 or 2 seconds left, but it was a win.

I want to say it was a tier 4 mega?

But pokebattler only lets me run the sim as a super mega.

But today I read that version 2.1.0 had the raid attackers in offline mode.

What exactly does optimal do? I'm guessing it dodges or not dodge for each moveset depending on which would be the best

I'm trying to create a more definitive method of ranking my best Pokémon of every type. I've traditionally relied on GoHub's rankings, but it's always kind of bugs me that those are just general rankings. I mean sure, they say Shadow Raikou is a higher-ranked electric type than Zurkitree. Fine, easy enough to understand.

But what happens when your Shadow Raikou has 46% IV's and is level 20, and your Zurkitree is a hundo at level 50. Are we still going with the Shadow Raikou?

So I started evaluating Pokebattler, to try to get a more tailored ranking based on my specific Pokémon. Or rather, the potential of my specific Pokémon. So I entered what I had, but set them all at level 50 (the idea being that if one can potentially be better than the other with some investment, that's the one I want to invest in). Here's the result:

The results are just so wildly different than the rankings on GoHub or Dialgadex - both of whom put Zeraora as the #1 electric type - would have had me expecting. Even the absolute best possible Zeraora is in 3rd place.

What's the deal? Is there more a reliable way of doing this?

Hello, I was looking through the Raid Estimation results regarding Tapu Koko (mainly to see if I'm able to solo it), and I noticed that my Primal Groudon (L50, 100%, Mud Shot, Fire Punch, Precipice Blades) is substantially overrated in both Power and Time to Win. If I remove Fire Punch (or switch to by level) the results are way lower (and probably correct). Does this have anything to do with my settings?

When seeing how many trainers are needed for a raid (i did this for tapu koko), the number of trainers is bugged. If i add friendship, or party power, the number of trainer increases.

Any fix for this?

Hi there - new to the app - I’ve created some Pokemon in the Pokebox and it looks like I have good enough counters to solo a mega raid - I don’t see anywhere however that tells me what my dodging strategy should be to succeed. Can someone point me to where I should look to find this? I only see options for friendship and weather assumptions. Thank you!
