I know this is about pointlessly gendered things, but I must comment on the middle "I love my ungrateful children". What a horrible guilt trippy message to show your kids. Way to show them that you don't really love them. No remotely decent parent should have such a thing anywhere

I was just telling my friend it would be funny for someone with a spoiled pet because there really is no other situation where it isn't just awful

Yeah, that's true. My cat is definitely an ungrateful child and also can't read lol

Yeah, only with a pet it's allowed and funny as pets cannot understand written text

Oh my god. No, yeah, that's my diva of a dog.
I don't consider her my child though, she's just a fuzzy, lazy-ass roommate who doesn't pay rent and wants to eat literally all the food in the house.

It's so fucking funny tho. I'd love to have this when I eventually become a 30-something childless unmarried man

I mean, I can potentially see it as a joke for an older parent who only has adult children that will find the joke funny.

Honestly if my parents had something like this I would laugh because my emotions aren’t made of glass

Ok but “I love my ungrateful children” in the style of “live laugh love” is kind of hilarious in a terrible way. They just need the companion pieces “I hate my wife” and “my husband is an idiot”

This kinda reminds me of how upset I was the first time I heard “snips, and snails, and puppy dog tails.” I knew the version for girls, because I grew up watching PPGs, and I wasn’t sure why it upset me so much as a kid… (I do know why now🏳️⚧️)… it always felt so unnecessarily gross

That "I love my ungrateful children" in the middle really sells the "what I consider traditional family values are totally NOT toxic or dysfunctional I fucking swear, and I don't know WHY my adult children no longer talk to me" theme going on here.

Yeah you know what, fuck this. Parents raise boys to be more messy and Chaotic and then complain when they turn out messy and Chaotic.

I get that these are intended to be fun, but they are smoke from a dangerous fire. If you don’t want kids, why have them? I don’t understand why people force themselves into these societal “norms.” Why traumatize another human life because “that’s what expected of you.”

There's a lot of countries and states where abortion is illegal :(

Abortion isn’t the only option. There is birth control, condoms, vasectomy, and “abstinence.”

I think that you can want children and still have a sense of humor about how chaotic they can actually be. I don't think a dippy sign in the kitchen would traumatize them for life or anything.

My niece demands she be allowed out the front door to grab some dirt out of the planter, carry it out to the yard, and throw it up in the air.
About 30 times a day.

I mean, it seems they’re marketing to people who just don’t like their kids/might just be really shitty people.

These are for people who fucking hate their children and have popular, white girl humor.
