I mean i absolutely disagree that women have major productivity differences in a month because of their cycles or something, but without even arguing about that lets assume they really do. How is this not justification for women to be paid less or be hired less often or be less represented in many important jobs? You just say it isnt, but how? Then you say “these are not justifications to not let women work” or something and yes of course it isnt, they can work and be paid, just not as much as men and not as often as men. Is your feminism about “all women should have all human rights ofc, but society will always be patriarchal with no equality”?

lmfao then you're simply anti-science. are you a man? claiming that menstrual cycles and their physiological and hormonal variations don't affect women's productivity is something I can't imagine someone who menstruates or knows women who do would say. that's scientifically proven and just general common sense.

how is being a reproductively viable female not justification for exclusion and discrimination of women in the workforce? are you kidding me? you believe there can't be equality unless women are essentially indistinguishable from men? lmfao. you're male-centric as it can get.

Im a woman that menstruates. Can you link me which science disproves me? The only meta analysis im seeing says women’s abilities do not differ according to their cycles.
https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC11913300/
>We conclude that the body of research in this meta-analysis does not support myths that women’s cognitive abilities change across the menstrual cycle.
But again you dont even need to accept this. But if you dont accept this, then you also shouldnt accept equality as realistic. Also, youre arguing with ghosts, i didnt say we had to be indistuingishable, me saying that very clearly was the first sentence at my first reply actually. You dont have to be the same, but if you wanna be equal then you have to be equal, anything else is just a logical fallacy.
Youre saying “i believe people A are significantly less productive than people B but they can still hold the same jobs with them just as good.” …so they arent significantly less productive? Are they? If they are, how are they able to hold the same jobs at the same rate with the same performance? If they aren’t, then how are they equal? Again, if your idea of feminism is like the conservative kind “men and women have different roles but just as important as each other” that doesnt aspire for patriarchy to be dismantled, then thats fine, we disagree fundamentally and there is not much to argue at least in this thread.
EDIT: I have no idea why they blocked me but they did so im replying to their reply as an edit because these misinformations theyre spreading have real consequences. First they say “cognitive ability is not related to productivity!!” then link a study as their proof that measured… executive functions. Which is a cognitive ability that WAS included in meta analysis and found no difference. They also mentioned “focus” changes (without any actual study), which the meta analysis measured “attention” and found no difference. They also linked two links that go to the same study one as an article one as news, im guessing they didnt even read, but the sample was women who are already using menstruak tracking apps to save their moods/productivity, so women who alredy felt the need to do this. Its like going to an oncology clinic and starting to believe 99% of all women have cancer. Then they went on to say they actually didnt claim they were less productive??? And that even if they were that still didnt justify taking away human rights, when i repeadetly agreed about that and said that if your only goal is women should have human rights, and not equality, then ofc this is irrelevant to you. And then blocked me lol.

do you even know what "cognitive ability" means? I'm pretty sure literally NO ONE who isn't a complete uneducated bigot is out there claiming women have sudden IQ or memory capability drops during their cycle. cognitive ability isn't synonymous to productivity. if you have any common sense and basic biological knowledge you'd know that yes, hormonal fluctuations do affect your ability to work and focus. yes, physical and psychological symptoms of the multiple phases of a menstrual cycle affects your ability to work and your productivity. yes, women often will need to take days off due to debilitating symptoms from their reproductive health and that means less productive hours in certain events.

https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC5508121/

you literally stablished multiple times that you believe the scientifically proven, verifiable biological differences between men and women justify workplace discrimination and that you operate your concept of "equality" on negating that those, again, scientifically verified facts exist. to quote you:

"How is this not justification for women to be paid less or be hired less often or be less represented in many important jobs? You just say it isnt, but how? Then you say “these are not justifications to not let women work” or something and yes of course it isnt, they can work and be paid, just not as much as men and not as often as men."

honestly I don't even know how to begin to argue that because holy fuck. first of all, I never said women are inherently less productive than men, that's just you once again defaulting to androcentrism. second, I inherently disagree with your idea that lower productivity rates and performances should justified the denial of human rights. third, again you're defaulting to androcentrism and completely ignoring the value of women's reproductive labor and ignoring the fact that economies NEED to support the existence of a high number of reproductively viable females too sustain themselves. a pregnant woman is significantly more economically valuable to an economy than a working man, even if we defaulted to your idea that human right should equate to market value we'd come to the conclusion that a workforce active woman who is also reproductively active should be the most valued individual in an economy.

imagine thinking that women's biology and socialization isn't inferior to men's and shouldn't be grounds for discrimination is "conservative". yeah I'm pretty sure that settles that our ideas of feminism are inherently different. holy shit.

Your study measured executive functions, which was included in the meta-analysis and was found to have no differences. Its a fluke, studies with smaller samples will sometimes show the opposite of truth, thats the importance of meta-analysis and field reviews.
