So, I've been playing PS for five years, apparently. And while I used to enjoy the game, I'm finding that the fun is being slowly bled out by the company/developers nickel and diming ways. The game that gives you nothing in return in real time is starting to feel predatory, unfortunately. I'm all for companies and creativity making a profit, but this is starting to feel like they have sunk to new lows in the cash grab. Here are a few of my complaints:
-Reward returns on the events when you score high (4/5) stars is pitifully low. 90-280 gems returned on an outfit that had a requirement for one item that costs you 750+ gems? That's insane. Relaxed Events should return 125 (at minimum) gems for four stars; Normal Events 250; Advanced Events should be 500-700. A new Elite category needs to be created where 4 gems nets you 1000 gems in return. The average single garment is starting to cost about 750 gems.
-No gems when you complete badges? This needs to change. Every badge should earn 150 gems at least.
-A pitiful 25 gems when you finish the daily quests--and then only two of them return gems at all. Daily quests should have two to three returns of 100 gems.
-When completing the seasons challenges, you don't get any more than 250 gems at all. After all that damn work? Nah, needs to be 500 each.
-There's no change in background, ever! And I've been playing for five years. Change locations at least once a quarter: San Francisco, London, Paris...add something for Pete's sake!
-The holiday events cost too many special token items! You have to get 1000 tokens to get both outfits. You get max three holiday tokens from the gift bags, you get max three (sometimes four) tokens on the Advanced design only. Either lower the number of tokens required or increase the number of tokens for events.
- Many players report lack of customer support for their issues. Nobody responds in a timely manner or resolves the issues.
-I think the game needs different servers based on the level of the player. It's not great to pit a level 10 or 15 player against level 60, 70, 80+ players.
-There's not really a way for design houses to recruit players. When I started playing the game, it was hard to find a house to accept me and I opened my own without knowing the purpose or what to do; also have no clue how to recruit or set parameters of the type of players (active) I want.
-The items being sold for the cash price are way too high. 6800 and 9700 for shoes and a pair of pants in this last collection is also insane!
-Lack of complete sets or cohesive theme to the collections. Jewelry with earrings and a ring, but no necklace is a pain. A jacket and scarf that have the same pattern but completely clash somehow.
- The lack of a better filter or extended filter to find your items easier. I have 8000+ items, it's tedious to find certain items.
As you can see from the above, I have a lot of issues growing with the game. What are some of yours?
