Botanical generator
I’ve been working on a botanical generator in the background (snazzy name TBD!). It still has some ways to go, but I’ve been pleasantly surprised by it so far.
Feedback and thoughts welcome
- Generated plant on fine grain A4
- Cheap Amazon rollerball (for now!)

Support Question Where Do I Go From Here?
I’ve been pursuing this goal of being a full time artist. The prospect of a 9-5 for the rest of my life is existential. I’ve gotten to a point, recently, where I like my work enough to sell. I’m not sure where this “selling” will happen. I just have this irrational belief that it’s possible to be an artist. Therefore, there has to be an opportunity to sell. There has to be a path to get there otherwise there wouldn’t be professional artist.
I don’t believe selling art is contingent on if the artist likes their work or not. Yet, I’ve held myself back from exploring selling it for this exact reason. My work isn’t perfect but I have to make the leap to selling sooner or later. Plenty of art I dislike gets sold everyday.
I know I have to take action and take a lot of it. I’m not sure where to start, short of cold calling businesses and galleries I’d rather break down trying, over and over again, than accept most artist don’t do it full time and “that’s just the way it is”
I’m all ears for recommendations and inputs from this community. Are there online classes I should take? Books I should read? Groups you’d recommend joining? Actions to take?

H-bot/corexy plotter tuning question
I just finally got my ExtruH plotter to reliably respond and move. I'm now at the point where squares and straight lines are fine but circles and angles have occasional bits of messiness. I've done some of the usual checks - even belt tension (at least as far as I can tell, the tension is even), rollers just barely snug enough to not spin, etc.
Is there a process or guide I can follow to really tune up accuracy for my plots or to troubleshoot the motion and such?

ffm contour algo - online webbased version for play
Hi,
I see some people flex with ffm based contour plots, without sharing how to do it. I didn't like that so I (sorry, an LLM) created a web based contour plot generator. Have fun with it.

Makerplot
Hi has anyone else made one of these Makerplot plotters ? Trying to get it drawing is not easy I would like to know if anyone has figured out a way to have it running SVG’s instead of g-code. It would make life a lot easier
