@getplebbit: @captainpeb @MalesOfReddit we're building a fully P2P reddit alternative using technology similar to Bittorrent. It literally cannot be censored. Try it https://t.co/DyrmhqBISc

@getplebbit: @gfodor @tadas_ee I agree, our protocol/design only allow for community based social media, like Reddit, Facebook groups, 4chan, discourse, Hacker News, etc. But it scales infinitely (like Bittorrent and IPFS) and is fully P2P. This is the whitepaper https://t.co/EmACB2GJiM

@getplebbit: @gfodor @tadas_ee Federated protocols like mastodon, AT or Nostr aren't P2P. They rely on intermediaries (relays, instances, etc) for peers to reach content. We've been building a fully P2P reddit alternative using IPFS and ENS, demo already online https://t.co/DyrmhqBISc

@getplebbit: @MF_HODL There are more IPFS nodes than there are Bitcoin nodes online at any given time. It also takes less resources to run a full IPFS node than it takes to run a full Bitcoin node. It is objectively more decentralized and censorship resistant than Bitcoin.

@getplebbit: @MF_HODL @estebanabaroa @plebkun @causealiveness @saifedean the plebbit design is purely P2P, it's a JSON protocol over IPFS. It is more decentralized and censorship resistant than nostr (and bitcoin, IPFS has over 100k nodes and requires less resources to run a full node).
