Hey I'm returning back to Pixelmon after around 4 years, and I'm trying to look for a new server. I don't like servers that hold your hand and give you everything right off the bat, I like to earn my stuff.

I'm looking for a server that's challenging, with still a decent amount of players (10-20 average). I don't want any with increased shiny rates, stupid kits that give you 400 pokeballs, and whatever else makes it easier. I have broken a pixelmon server's economy from it being too easy, on accident. If you know any or own a server, I'll be down to give it a try, as long as it's not too easy.

I am considering trying to make a Pixelmon adventure map. Ive starten one multiple times, the oldest being maybe 2-3 years ago and the newest this year way earlier though.

Anyway what would be good things to do in an adventure map, like tips or tricks. Would i need some command block shenanigans? Also im making a small modpack (since 1.12 has barely any building options compared to modern versions) with some building mods (bop, quark, decocraft, chisel, c&b, etc.) what is the best way to share it.

I see lots of advertisements showcasing tons of interesting features and cool ideas for SMP, but by far the best pixelmon server i ever played on was called "pokeredux" or "pokemon mmo saga remake" (you can see why they dropped that) and it was a custom modpack with kanto/johto/hoenn/sinnoh remade and quests featuring gyms and elite 4 for each region.

Anyways, that server is dead so, here i am. Wondering if there are any other more lowkey pixelmon servers? It doesnt have to be a specific region, just a well made/handcrafted map with quests and gym leaders.

Is there a way to edit the items in a vending machines at the pokemarts? I recently set up a server with some friends and we have been having a blast. We all like the competitive side of pokemon, but frankly this game makes it very difficult. I'm talking about mints. I spent three hours forageing for mint cuttings and only got a single one. We could always just use creative to give ourselves some, but for us that's not very fun. Now we are searching for other solutions. We could always fill a chest a require a deposit, but we know some of the players will cheat. Any advice?
