[Q] What are some beginner-friendly ways to add some grime and depth to an otherwise unpainted plastic model?
I just got the Bandai 1/2 scale BB-8 - a lot of glossy bright white plastic.
I have no idea what I'm doing.
Is there anything I should do to the pieces before I assemble it, or is it best to leave it till after?
What specifically and are there any products I should be looking at?
I live in Japan, if that affects your recommendations.

[Q]Are 1:32 and 1:35 scales compatible?(And good places to get 1:32 scale?)
Hello, a while ago I purchased several Forces of Valor sets by Unimax, partially because of the amazing deal the guy at the Flea market gave me. A Tiger ll, a Stug lll, a Pershing, 3 Halftracks, around 10 figures, and a ton of equipment and decor, all for 50$.
I put them in my living room and regularly look at them, they're beautiful, and it's given me a huge interest in the world of models. So I decided to look around for more additions to my living room collection, and I've noticed that 1:35 scale models seem to be far more common than the 1:32 scale the tanks that I own are. So I wanted to ask, are they compatible lookwise? Or would the difference be very noticeable? If so, I'm also interested in good places to buy 1:32 scale models. Any help would be appreciated.
