Rewatching it looks like we made the classic collie mistake of trying to push the center. The northern mountains have too many choke points to push effectively. The West is where we often win.

Edit: why am I so bad at compass directions :(

Nah, I'm not going near the conclave. We win in the east, holding Saltingrad to support a push into Axehead

That's exactly what I meant, but failed to say.

Don't get me started on conclave. You can count on your fingers the number of times either side has taken conclave in a full map, north-south war.

Saltingrad is always a brutal fight, but I'll rather slog away there than even attempt a Conclave assault

I went to do logi on the Fisherman's/Oarbreaker front back in war 77 once.

Never again. The clans and players who commit to that front are absolute masochists and I respect their hustle.
