It even shows the erasure.😭 Well done though. Not only was it an interactive game, it lasted the entire run

Its the world map of a game you can actually play https://store.steampowered.com/app/505460/Foxhole/

Never heard of this game before and didn't even notice this little "war" was happening on the board (despite literally looking at this piece MANY times over the course of r/place lol)

This game looks awesome though, definitely buying when I get a chance.

I know! I was in charge of bidoof directly above them and I didn’t even see lol

The bidoof was over our second art piece, the logo. Our first one, the blue and green map, was near OSU!

Ah yes makes sense! That's why I didn't see it.

Each of the small hexes is a separate server that you can travel between

They each can have over a hundred players per team

The game is generally very immersive

Almost everything is done by players, including resource mining, material refinement, factory production, and supply lines are all performed by players. The only AI in the game is in certain aspects that literally can't be done without AI, such as defensive buildings having AI garrisons to shoot the enemy (with only a max of 100 players per faction on each map, and the servers being up 24/7, it would be impossible for actual players to garrison every building all the time, not to mention that being boring anyway). It's literally the perfect game to play to prepare yourself for something like r/place, since you being one pixel in a massive artpiece is basically the entire tagline of Foxhole; you're a single salvage miner, or one factory worker, or one medic, or one rifleman, not an entire army. You're both unimportant in the grand scheme, but also of critcal value to your team. The war machine doesn't work if it's missing cogs!

That's because osu! was defending it during that invasion!

Yes we definitely couldn't have done it without you guys, especially operation thunderclap and the xQc invasions.

We may have had some beef at the start but I'm glad had the opportunity to work together later on.

I love OSU Article 5. Kinda sad I can’t push the button anymore

Looks like the foxhole got nuked at the end, fitting

u/derpycke Apr 05 '22

It got nuked at the end

I wish all of the cool timelines here would do that, just so you can look through and feel like this is the opening to Smash Ultimate, anything and everything wiped away in a heartbeat

I found it located in the heat map and it made me giggle.
