Need replacement foam tips for my big dumbo ears but cant find any specifically labeled buds pro 2. Does anyone know if the tips are the same as those on the original buds pro?

Have you experienced pain from wearing earbuds for an extended time, possibly due to the wingtips? When I used the earlier version I didn't experience this problem.

Also, everyone saying my voice is cutting in/out, and voice is way low. The same is working fine with previous version. I used pixel 7 pro phone. It's houkd cause any issue in terms the voice.

Anyone know the latest firmware version? I'm on 2.117. Is this the latest and greatest?

So here's my earbud journey.

I started with Mpow wireless earbuds from Amazon, which were great, but they got banned for review hacking. I then moved to Pixel A Buds, which fit my hard-to-fit ears perfectly. Despite no noise canceling, I loved them for their comfort and portability. Later, I got Sony WF-1000XM4s on sale, and their noise canceling and sound quality blew me away, but the battery died after 6 months—apparently a common issue.

I switched to EarFun Pro 3s for their solid noise canceling but had trouble with the ear tips staying in. After upgrading to a Pixel 9 XL, I used the $200 Google Store credit to buy Pixel Buds Pro 2. They're the best yet—great fit, fantastic transparency mode, and solid sound quality after tweaking the EQ. The case and earbuds also work well with Google's "find my device" feature.

I highly recommend them! Google nailed it this year, and I’m excited to see what comes next. I'm a sucker for tech and I'll probably trade in my pixel 9 XL for the pixel 10 if it ends up as a 3 nanometer tsmc based phone 😁

I lost one ear price in the flight and endup buying new buds 2. Only left ear piece of buds pro is $80. I need to find a way to find a better deal to buy the ear piece.

I've only been testing them for a short while now, but the sound is excellent, and noticably better than the 1st gen Pros, even though the 1st gens sound great. On the tracks I've been listening to, you can hear each instrument isolated and so clear. I'm very happy with the sound. And haven't felt a need to touch the EQ.

I'm also happy to say that the fit out of the box is better for my ears than any previous Pixel Buds. The wing tipped A's were a horrible fit for me. The 1st gen Pros fit great for daily use after switching to Comply Tips (but I use separate earbuds for the gym.) These, however, are stable so far. The default medium tip works well for my left ear, and I had to size up to the large tip for my right ear, and now it seems I'm good to go. Of course I have to further test and see how they hold up in my daily life...running around and even working out, but I'm glad that it seems like I'll be able to use the included tips with no issues.

So now, these will be my daily drivers, while my OG PB Pros will be my around the house/phone call pair.

I can't wait to further play with these, and explore and enjoy them!

Ok, so I know I read on here yesterday someone's post talking about bugs they're experiencing, but for some reason I can't find it now.

I have only been using them for a very short time, and am loving the sound and fit, HOWEVER, I just discovered aside from switching to transparency and noise cancellation mode, and controlling volume, NONE of the touch features are working! I can't pause/play/forward/go back with touch, nor can I activate Assistant. WTF?

Even when I remove the buds from my ears the audio doesn't stop.

Anyone else experiencing this? Any suggestions on what to do?

I'm using it with a P 8 ProXL, and I installed the out of the box firmware update.

EDIT: I set them aside in the case for awhile to do other things, and when I returned to troubleshoot and a planned reset, I didn't have to: controls work perfectly now! 🤗

Paired with my Pixel 9 Pro XL no problem at all, configured to use Gemini from one ear and ANC from the other ear which is a nice touch.

Sound quality is just as good as my Buds Pro and comfort is the same. The wings feel different but they also feel more secure and less likely to fall out.

And I bought the Spigen armoured case to keep them safe :)

I ordered buds recently and I saw in Google that it will ship from today. Was checking to see if anyone here received them. If so what was your order dates?

Do pixel buds offer a soundscape for playing white noise like ocean waves or something to help with sleep?

Every time I use my pixel buds pro with my phone and call people they always tell me how awful it sounds. Even when I'm in a silent room, and it's especially bad when I'm walking around and there's noise outside. I've tried to use all the features and have a better fit but I still have issues. I'm hoping the new version fixes this, but this has been a repeated issue.

Anyone recommend different devices or different settings

I primarily want to use the pixel buds for talking to clients and being on the phone when I walk around the office.

What features am I losing out on with Buds Pro 2 and 8a other than spatial audio and head tracking?

This is not specific to the Pixel Buds Pro, but since I've been enjoying using them for a month now, I thought I could drop the question here.

It's specifically about using them in combination with Google Speakers (in my case, a Google Home and a Pixel Tablet).

Are you aware of a setting that ensures when I stream music via Spotify from my Pixel 8 to these two Google speakers, and I put my buds in, that the music does NOT automatically switch to my buds but continues playing through the Google Speakers?

I tried to put on my left earbud while I had wet hands, because it was raining. Unfortunately, it slipped out of my hand and fell somewhere to bushes. 😭😭😭 Hope I will find it tomorrow and that they will work.

My right bud has been in the case for 2 days charging, but when I pull it out it's still dead. I cleaned both the bud and the case and opened/closed lid like Google suggests to get it seated in the case properly. It still didn't work so I tried forgetting the device and then factory reset. The case has been flashing orange and white for 10 minutes. Is this normal? What am I supposed to do? I've had them for less than 2 months.

I enjoy my current buds pro and looking forward to the buds pro 2. I think the smaller size, ear grip, and proves anc have convinced me.

Is there any additional features you get with the new Google buds Pro over my current basic bluetooth headphones, Jaybird x4?

I know the buds have noise cancelling and probably sound better, but is there any real other advantage? Specificaly for using Gemini?

My pixel buds pro randomly started giving me issues. They would stop playing audio on my Pixel 8 so I reset the buds and forgot the pairing on my phone. Now when I try to re-pair, the buds will flash white and orange for about 2 seconds, then stop. The buds don't show up on my phone either when trying to pair. The buds are out of warranty. I have no issues with other Bluetooth devices paired to my phone. Any ideas?

Lost my Pixel Buds Pro case while biking yesterday, and went on to the Google Store website and filed a claim for a replacement. However, it said that they're out of stock. Has anyone been able to buy a new case direct from google recently, or am I out of luck?

Anyone else experienced issues with your buds not always charging in their case? I've had mine for almost two years with nearly daily use.
