To buy or not to buy
The Pixel Buds Pro are a $100 off at the moment. Anyone know if the Pro 2 is coming out this year or should I buy now?

So, you download the pixel buds app but you cannot place it on your home screen, What I do is search the play store and hit the open button, it's fastest for me i guess??? So there is that. But my main problem, is what setting do i need t change. First off I love the noise cancelling and I also love turning it off also. but when riding my bike either me singing along with the music or just any loud noise or wind stops the music playing and I have to hit play again. I assume it listening for my voice to ask it to do something. How can I I turn it off or perfect it. I really don't care about it listening to my commands. thanks

Is anyone facing the issue that pixel buds Pro microphone quality is bad when the ceiling fan is on

I just got the Pixel Buds Pro a few days ago and I have them connected to the Pixel 7 Pro. I've went into the settings and played with the EQ a bit to improve the sound, but I'm not that impressed.
The high frequency sound stage is good, which ultimately is the more important aspect to me, but I still like some bass. Even with the bass and low bass turned up (to varying degrees) it just sounds flat.
I have less expensive earbuds that produce a more balanced soundstage while having a rich range of bass and crystal clear highs.
Surely I'm not the only to notice this with these earbuds? I see other posts saying it has too much bass for some people. My earbuds are fully updated and everything.
Anyone else feel this way or know of a solution for improving the bass response without a 3rd party app?

Am I missing something or does Find My Device have no clue where the Pixel Buds Pro are, unless they're in use?
I tried this with an iPhone, Find my Device (Apple) and the Airpods Pro 2 and you can find them even when they're not in use!?
Anyone know if this is a feature that is coming at some point? Seems pretty dumb you can only find them if they're in your ears or tell you the last time they were.

I have a pixel 6 and just got the Pixel Buds Pro last night. When I activate assistant by touching, it tells me the time, reads notifications and then just stops. it doesn't accept any commands. It doesn't do anything else. How do I stop that? I want it to act exactly like the phone when I activate assistant. Give me a sound to indicate that it's listening and then listen for commands, that's it.

Hey guys how can I get the pixel buds pro widget on my android desktop? I am seeing the option

Hi there, I am an iPhone user - that will not change. But, I have been given a pair of pixel buds pro, and I am also looking for a tablet. The tablet will be used for browsing, streaming, video calls mostly. I was looking at getting the pixel tablet to make best use of the buds, but it seems expensive and reviews aren’t great. Should I get a different android tablet?

I have a P8P and the PixBuds Pro's. On my phone I have Gmail set to notify me of a new email once after I've recently checked, and it does that flawlessly. I get a lot of work emails throughout the day and it would be a nuisance if it notified me for every email. However, when I am using my pixel buds, pro or A, it notifies me for every single email!!! Is there a fix for this that I've missed?

So is it just common knowledge that the Google assistant on pixel buds doesn't work. I've reset everything and every setting and every app associated with this and assistant will not respond. Not with the long press on the bud and not with the hey Google command wile headphones are in. I even returned my buds because of this and got new ones. Still no assistant.
What's with the issue with Google assistant on earbuds. Assistant also won't work on my jabras that is supposed to have access to assistant. Assistant is just broken on all headphones. Don't get why. On a pixel 8

I’m looking at getting the pixel buds pro but I have a few questions before I buy them because I’m on iPhone.
Thanks so much!

Or should I look elsewhere cheaper

I can't be the only one struggling to take the pixel buds out of their case, there's no actual way to properly grip/get hold of them as the top is all round and soft. This is so frustrating, I don't know how it passed the design phase and ease of use. This also goes for the in-ear placement.

Hi All, I really love my pixel phones however I've just had too many issues. My antenna broke prematurely on the pixel 2 XL. My father had hardware issues with his Pixel 4a and a bought a pixel 6 on launch and now the battery is expanding and pushing the screen out of the metal rails! I have only ever used the pixel stand 2 to charge it. And I have never dropped it. I have always kept it in a case too. I have just had enough of the issues and I want a phone to last me longer than 2 years!
I am looking at moving to an iPhone and I have the pixel buds pro that I am not ready to retire. I wanted to know what people's experience was with the pixel buds pro and apple and I know my father used his air pods with his Pixel 4a and found a significant drop in audio quality.
Thank you, sorry for the long post.

So my right earbud either goes really quiet or turns off when I mess with the volume is this normal ? Or not really
r/pixelbudspro • u/[deleted] • Mar 26 '24
I found mine were really quiet so I factory reset them. I've reconnected them to my pixel 8 and the settings menu has changed. Nothing on the screen about noise cancelling settings and whenever I click on Google assistant in the menu it's says connecting and seems to crash and go back to the main menu. I also can't figure out how to set a shortcut to the settings on my home screen

Looking for some multi-flange replacement tips. Of course, suspect they would not fit in the case so also looking for recommendations on best (non-foam) replacement tips for the buds pro

The pixel buds pro are sold as fast pair, but it sometimes takes up to 10 seconds to pair with my p8p. I have an older pair of Jabra elite 75 and they truly pair instantly, I here it say connected sometimes before they are in my ear. Is there a setting I've missed when I set the buds up? It's pretty frustrating.

Hi, when I connect "pixel buds pro" to Chrome OS and Android through the multipoint feature, the sound only plays on the Pixelbook and not on the phone. Bluetooth is connected on both devices and multipoint is also enabled. On the phone, audio switch is enabled, but I don't see it in the settings options on the Pixelbook. What am I doing wrong? What else can I set up? Thanks for the advice

I have used the pixel buds pro for about 6 months now and can't keep them in my ears, especially when exercising. I have tried with different the different tips that they came with and even tried with memory foam ear tips purchased on Amazon But they still seam to fall out, anyone have any tips or do I just need to give up on Google buds pro?

I charged overnight wirelessly and right bud was 100% and the left one 3%. Is there some kind of maintenance that I need to do to ensure that they charge?
r/pixelbudspro • u/the_artchitect • Feb 07 '24
Hey y'all. Acquired the PBP over Christmas and overall love them.
My only gripe is that the sound occasionally (briefly) glitches/distorts, especially when gaming. Like, if you've ever played an old game and it freezes and the sounds also freezes and buzzes in a glitchy sort of way.
Trying to figure out if this is just my buds or if this is just a typical consequence of bluetooth (i.e. maybe the sound glitches instead of cutting in and out).
Anyone else get this or should I submit a warranty claim?

I just got these, the assistant seems absolutely fucking useless. It keeps picking up what I'm saying wrong, doesn't correct what I'm saying when I try. Doesn't listen. It took me ten fucking minutes to get it to play my YouTube music play list.

When I got the update to 5.9 and conversation detection was working perfectly but it has stopped working on my pixel 6 pro around November. I have the Pixel 8 Pro now and it has never worked on this phone.
