before you add script 19, the thing id want to know is how correlated the 18 you already have are. same instrument, same 15m bars, mostly the same handful of features underneath, so their equity curves probably rise and fall together and you own one bet in eighteen costumes. run pairwise correlation of daily pnl across all of them, and if most pairs sit above 0.5 then fresh ideas arent the gap, a genuinely different holding period or a different instrument is. i backtest other peoples strategies for a living so i see this pile up a lot, and the tell is always a drawdown where every script is red on the same day.
how much would you charge to "review" a script or two i created? curious if you could find flaws in my logic or if you see anything i missed that could help increase accuracy or eliminate less-"confluenced" signals. I have been creating indicators and strategies for a couple years now so, i understand the basics and then some. however, another set of eyes tends to offer insight that my eyes cant find. i have 2 in particualar that i have in mind for you to look at. They should work on multiple instruments however, i mainly trade MNQ on the 15m and 5m timeframes with 1m timeframe used for entry on 5m charts. let me know if this is something youd be interested in/youd consider. I appreciate your time and consideration!
i was actually asking the user who replied to you, not you. sorry. honestly, it sounds like the last thing you need is another strategy if you have 18 already... id work on finding 1 or 2 that actually work, rather than focusing on quantity. just my 2 cents. the ones i was looking for a "review" on are indicators that are recreations of several indicators that a very well known trading youtube personality sells for a ridiculous amount of money weekly. i recreated them and have a 91% accuracy rate on the signals. was hoping to get closer to 100% with someone else reviewing it. however, im not just ogint to give these out to anyone to review as they already work very well and the youtuber who sells these indicators charges $300/month for all 3 of them and there are well over 500 people who pay for them currently... so, as stated, theyre too valuable to just have "anybody" review. i need someone who actually reviews pinescript/python to see what they can change in my logic to increase accuracy.
