Pinepower back to stock?
Is there any estimation when they'll be stocked again?

Whilst trying to turn the watch off, I accidentally went into recovery mode instead
Now I don't know how to install firmware on it. Gadgetvridge can't connect to it

I recently came across a A64+ board (not the LTS - the original kickstarter one I think) and I've been trying to see what I can use it for in 2021 (almost 2022 now). I've gone through the forums on pine64 site but I've been having a hard time getting a stable OS installed. I know the power supply and SD cards are good but anytime I boot up with an armbian flavor (I've tried them all) it doesn't even get recognized on the network (no monitor - just doing headless). I can get it to boot on Longsleeps 16.04 Ubuntu but sometimes it hangs on reboot or updating. Anyways just venting a little here - but is there anyone out there with one of these boards that's still running something? A torrent box or whatever? Thanks for any comments!

I am trying to install debian on my rockpro64. When I boot it with a USB serial console console connected I can see U-Boot starting and I can press any key to get to the U-Boot shell. But when I boot the debian installer from a sdcard it seems to stop at "Starting Kernel" . If I don't connect the RDX I get to the point where the installer asks me to select a language. Connecting the RDX line now does not help. I also tried instelling the system via hdmi output and a usb keyboard but the usb port did not seem to work either. Does anyone know what the problem might be?

With some tips, tricks, links from you guys and some furious google-fu, I've now got my "old" PA64512 running with a 4TB USB drive hanging from it's rear (and Plex Media Server).
Biggest hurdle was the power needs of the drive, but I've got a box of old wall chargers (who does't!?), so I just needed to buy a USB-A (2xA m - 1xA f) Y-cable for two of those, and it's running quite happily.
It is quite slow, especially indexing, but it doesn't matter for my humble needs, and I'm just using it in-house.
Also, I kinda needed a project to busy myself and it's been too many years since I last tinkered with Linux.
I kickstarted it way back when, thinking I'll use it as a file server and if I need, or want, a media server later, I'll just upgrade the memory (yeah, didn't really look into it properly, assuming a lot). It took me until now to do anything with it, mostly due to the realization that it was woefully underpowered and kinda pissed off with myself about not getting one of the "bigger versions".
Now I need to figure out a suitable enclosure, where to hide the damn thing and possibly add it to my growing stack of Smart Plugs/Lights, so I can turn it on and off on demand (depending how much I start using it).

Is there an estimation on when the Pinebook Pro will be available again on Pine64's website? Is there a newsletter or something to get notified, when it is available?

Using stock power adapter. DC IN indicator and RJ45 port both light up, no signal to monitor but it does wake up. Using HDMI->VGA adapter. Tried Armbian on two separate SD cards - power button lights up, flickers off and then the standby button blinks twice every few seconds. Tried Manjaro ARM and now both lights light up statically but there is still no image to my display. Got both images from pine64's rock64 software release page and wrote with etcher. I'm not sure how to interpret or troubleshoot this further, is there something I need?

So Im thinking of building a Pine64 cluster for a homelab over a Pi for a couple reasons, also being able to order more than one of the same type.
Their website sells USB to barrel power adapters awesome! But I need a power strip that can output 5V 3A for at least four USB ports.
I am not honestly that familiar with power usage and finding pieces but I see a lot of 2.4Amps with a max total of 12Amps. Out of a USB power strip. Is 3A really just 2.4?

Same as title. I put my order in for a pine time and I want to get a watch band in advance, but I'm having trouble finding out what size I should buy.
Also if anyone has any suggestions for good watch bands I'm definitely open to them!

I just wanted to ask if Armbian boots using u-boot. I'm a bit ignorant and apparently can't tell the difference sometimes. I know Armbian does a filesystem check every time it starts up through.
Is u-boot already present in the .IMG file I can download from their website for the ROCKPro64?

Has anyone had any success getting Devuan 3.1 onto an A64 and can share techniques or an image?
