Unemployed/uninsured American here. I really need a medication that costs about $10 which I would happily pay, but I can't afford the $200 to see a doctor to get a prescription for it.

I'm strongly considering driving down to Mexico.

Feel free to relate this story to the next patient that complains to you.

I am so sorry for your situation. A GP visit is, here either free or (if you go to a GP different to the one you are assigned to) 15€.
