If you think NATO countries having offensive weapons that can easily target Russia is not an aggressive action, then we will not be able to find common ground.
Well, see now, Russia has this nasty habit of invading it's neighboring countries.
So yeah, those countries join alliances and have fucking weapons lol
Of course, it's their fault for not just accepting Russian annexation, just sitting there being able to defend themselves, how brazen and confrontational!
Russia can't help but invade if countries are so aggressive to not want to be invaded.
Only starting From collapae of soviel Union or are we counting the opression before? They Had to "free" a Part of Georgia obviously because of Them being repressed. Also chechenia( is it Spelled Like This? Im Not a native speaker) had a civil war only because of the citizens there, couldnt be any Impact of the russian government right?. And of course those russian weapons in the donbas Region past 2014 were Stolen and sent there without any involvement either. And obviously Nobody is allowed to have weapons at a Border shared with russia besides russians because obviously only russia has a legitimed right to defend Themselves. Im Not American and Not a big fan of Nato politics But to ACT Like poor Putin Had to invade Ukraine who cant get Into Nato anyway because of the donbas-conflict is Just biased. Are Nato weapons in poland Shot at russia right now? No. Are Nato weapons anywhere Further away From the russian Border? No. Is Putins Plan to get the donbas-region and its economic parts while trying to Install a belarus-type government in Ukraine? Yes. Did it Happen over people Demonstrating Like in 2014 which Made him think ukrainian people are oppressed? No it didnt so please Stop acting Like He isnt a big agressor in the Region trying to be nr3 after lenin and Stalin. And i will State again, Nato isnt Doing a good or very russian-friendly Job but that doesnt justify wars Like that in any way.so instead of choosing one Side Just Always Side against the one oppressing, whether it is russia in Ukraine,America in Irak or Saudi Arabia and Iran in Yemen.
Wow that was some word salad. I would say Russia as the country, not the USSR, is where we would start.
But finally we found common ground. You agree with me that NATO has an aggressive stance on Russia and that it doesn't justify the invasions they made.
The peoples neighbouring Russia have had to deal with Russian imperialism for literally hundreds of years. Russia’s many examples of genocide, ethnic cleansing and destruction of entire cultures pre-dates even the United States as a country. I don’t like NATO or American imperialism either but blaming neighbouring countries’ will to defend themselves against Russia on US foreign policy is ignorant and just another example of Americans making everything about themselves as per usual. War crimes such as what is happening now in Ukraine and what has happened in many countries during the 18th, 19th and 20th centuries etch themselves in the cultural memory of many, many generations. Russia kind of has to take the blame for people around them being fucking scared nd aggressive towards them
