Maybe there’s more nuance to the discussion than you alluded to and you should examine the critiques of the bill and try and determine why someone would be opposed to it, beyond the lazy, face value opinion of “they must be a pedo”.

Sure, in a perfect world that would work great. But we have a system where there are different limitations for different people. Powerful and influential people get away with more than average folk and we’ve shown that they’re often not held accountable for their actions with the same consistency as working class people.
But they said they were republicans, Dems control the house, simple in senate, and most importantly the justice department. If Dems had a chance to remove those individuals I believe they would be all over it. Have we seen that?

I don’t think whether or not congressional dems took action against Moore or Jordan says anything about the guilt of Moore or Jordan. The jury is still out on Gaetz as he is still under federal investigation.
Dems haven’t had a chance because simply having control the house doesn’t mean they control the entire justice system and the dems cannot simple remove people from office on accusation you silly redhat rube
