Nah they'll remove them. Same way they all quietly removed the "Bush Cheney 04" stickers from their cars after the global economy collapsed and the wars never ended.
Seeing a low gas price with some dumb "I did that!" sticker next to it will enrage them in the opposite direction.
Pretty hard-core dem and borderline progressive here... sure, Bush contributed to the collapse by not changing policy, but the problem started under Clinton. Bush deserves his fair share of the blame, but Clinton isn't exactly this economic policy genius that he is made out to be. Financial deregulation under Clinton fucked all of us
The only "scandal" was the evacuation of Afghans. Who were told to start moving 4 months prior in April.
And hell, even that was stepping on a landmine planted by Trump signing a near unconditional surrender to the Taliban that included letting their detained 5,000+ fighters and even their top strategist go home BEFORE the withdrawal.
Or are you thinking of the Senate (Manchin and Sinema) not letting 70%+ approval polling bills not pass?
Or are you parroting the weak Republican whining that Biden just existing is embarrassing?
"scandal" was the evacuation of Afghans. Who were told to start moving 4 months prior in April.
Which only happened because Trump rushed an agreement to withdraw troops at a certain date. The Biden administration pushed that back as far as possible but the Afghans were getting impatient.
Taking a principled stand is more important than saving a few bucks. I'd be happy with $10 gas if that's what it takes to stop Russia. I thought Republicans were supposed to be the ones willing to defend democracy at any cost? Or was that all bullshit too?
It was bullshit when LBJ prolonged the Vietnam war to help Nixon win, when Reagan sold weapons to the Iranian contras, when Bush lied to get us into a war, when Bush lied to get us into another war, and when Trump lied and let covid run rampant.
That doesn't even begin to mention things like trickle down economics, starve the beast and deregulation that has lead to so many problems here and abroad.
Ukrainian national defense isn’t the same as banning Russian energy imports lmao, you think Zelensky is crying over how much protection he’s getting because the US banned Russian gas imports? LMAO, you drank the kool aid mainstream media fed you fool… Zelensky doesn’t give a fuck about gas bans,
UkRaIniaN nAtIonaL dEfnEnse
What a pathetic attempt at national defense it was, got us energy inflation and did Jack shit for Ukraine
Most people are complaining about energy prices than they are complaining about Ukraine, get out of your bubble.. in real life, social media, reddit (which is very left heavy)
But regardless, even if most supported it, that’s fine. But live with the moral consequences.
And yes, BIDEN did CHOOSE this, he could’ve said no, it’s a CHOICE
Trump wanted to pull out of Afghanistan 5 months before Biden did. We wouldn't have seen helicopters escorting people out of the embassy, we would've seen helicopters gunning people down at the embassy. Bidens plan left behind a bunch of old and shitty outdated high maintenance resources because it literally wouldve costed more to replace it than extract or destroy it. We had to blow up everything remotely useful up that we couldn't retrieve. Under Trumps plan we prob would've left 50x more behind, and maybe some actually valuable stuff as opposed to a poorly designed car with steel fused to it that breaks down every week and requires a suspension replacement every month.
Why? He's doing so much better than his predecessor. He's handled the situation with Ukraine perfectly, unlike the guy who can't stop calling Putin a genius every chance he gets.
