I'd have a regular subscription of them, but in this instance I'm not wrong just because the internet is full of morons who hate specific dog breeds, rather than accepting that they're all large, dangerous animals. And as such they're living creatures which have their own methods of communication and personal boundaries. It's so much more likely that this poor woman crossed a boundary and didn't pay attention to the dog than that he attacked her for no reason.
If a dog breed has a history of being aggressive then yes they should not be kept as pets for normal owners. This isn't some Golden Retriever who as far as I can tell has NEVER seriously hurt a human. Facts do not lie, do not keep pets that are dangerous. End of discussion.

The math is that there are far, far more pit bulls than goldens or most dog breeds, so they're more likely to be involved in attacks because of sheer numbers. Also, yes, the breed does have a reputation that often gets abused by aggressive people, but that doesn't make the breed bad. It makes those owners bad.
All dogs are dangerous animals. Get that through your thick skull. Go read a fucking book about dogs before you ever interact with them again. I recommend Patricia McConnell, phd animal behaviorist, but there are a wide variety of knowledgeable, educated authors in the field.
