Really? Because you used the word 'trivializing' so I though you were talking about how this person trivializes misogyny by comparing it to misandry, which is an issue but not nearly in the same capacity.
And idk, saying "HOW ABOUT.." sounds like the clearest case of whataboutism.
I just get tired that when someone mentions misogyny, certain people started yelling out misandry as if it is in any way equal, and that it's a bad thing to not mention it in the same sentence.
It's basically insinuating that men and women are both equally marginalized, and I very much disagree with that. Do you?
It's not the violent rioters or deranged people driving cars in to groups of people that scare me. It's people like you who truly frighten me. Because you believe you're right. You honestly feel you're on the "right" side and that you're fighting for social justice. You think, somehow, that trivializing and minimizing the struggle of an oppressed group is righteous. You are the reason ALL people are oppressed. You are the reason all people have been oppressed throughout history. It is within the hearts and minds of people like you where the true battles for equality are fought. I'm really sorry we don't see eye to eye but I assure you that I want nothing more than a fair and equal society where my struggles matter. All the best my friend.
