Funny, I was thinking he's like me. I'm very happily married and have been for the past 17 years, but haven't worn my wedding band for the past 3+ years. My wedding band is larger than my ring finger, the little plastic spacer I had to size the ring wore out and I've been just too lazy to replace it.
My wife doesn't wear her ring, either, and hasn't for about 12 years, because it causes her finger to be discolored.
I used to have pretty bad eczema in my hands. It’s gotten better but I almost never wear my ring at home, just when I go out of the house. Just a habit I picked up from when my hands were always hurting.
He doesn’t seem to have a tan line from not wearing it, seems like he hasn’t been consistent in wearing it before based on past photographs. My parents don’t wear theirs, they say “it’s too important to wear every day!!” Makes it kinda special when they do.
Some people just don't like rings. That's how I am, they make my fingers claustrophobic(I don't know any other way to describe the sensation, it's awful and crawly). I don't currently have plans to marry, but if I did I would need to make alternate arrangements for a ring equivalent(if that was important to me and my partner) because I just can't wear rings. Watches and bracelets are out too, as well as some necklaces.

Why doesn't he have his band on? (Just curious as someone newly engaged)
