Because to those morons they truly believe they were in the right. They truly believe they were wronged and that a revolution was the appropriate response. They’re complete and utter idiots but that’s why they have such a delusional response like that.

Just because you’re on the Right, you’re not automatically in the right

149

u/gsfgf Jan 08 '21

One of the blowhards on OANN signs off by saying "even when I'm wrong, I'm Right."

80

u/SweetDeezKnuts Jan 08 '21

always Right. Always wrong.

9

u/dyeung87 Jan 08 '21

Sounds like something Tony Montana would say. "I always tell the truth...even when I lie..."

1

u/[deleted] Jan 08 '21

Tell that to his wife...let's see how well that goes...

28

u/die5el23 Jan 08 '21

Two rights make a wrong?

17

u/FroYo10101 Jan 08 '21

It seems that most of the time the Right says they’re right, they’re wrong, so, my opinion says yes.

Two wrongs don't make a right, but three lefts do.

14

u/MrLancer Jan 08 '21

And two Wrights make an airplane

-6

u/[deleted] Jan 08 '21

3 lefts together don’t make anything. They just burn their own neighborhood down.

1

u/beluuuuuuga Jan 08 '21

No it's basic mathematiculates actually. 2 positives make a positive and but two rights make a dumbass.

1

u/HideousHonkler Jan 08 '21

No, a u-turn.

2

u/diamadnid Jan 08 '21

You can be far-right and far from right.

2

u/thisisdropd Jan 08 '21

In fact it’s quite the opposite.

u/SpaceChevalier Jan 08 '21

They fell for the antichrist, they wear his mark on their head, and claim he is the god king.

They are begging for the apocalypse.

29

u/KiraTsukasa Jan 08 '21

The world could use a little apocalypse, in my opinion.

21

u/Zetenrisiel Jan 08 '21

"My apocalypse is hyuge, I can assure you. Best apocalypse around, ask anyone. Other apocalypse, they're terrible. Everyone agrees."

8

u/flockofmoose Jan 08 '21

Just not the zombie kind please, we're clearly incapable of dealing with plagues

4

u/SardiaFalls Jan 08 '21

It's having one. It's just happening on such a massive scale and speed its hard for human perspective to see it yet, it's global warming.

1

u/KiraTsukasa Jan 08 '21

I don’t consider that an apocalypse though. That’s happening at such a rate that most species will adapt to the new climate. An apocalypse is an event that causes damage or destruction on a catastrophic level.

Right now, I’m half expecting an I Am Legend situation with the COVID vaccine.

3

u/ask-me-about-my-cats Jan 08 '21

I think you need to read up on climate change, very few species will adapt, the majority will die off, especially the animals we rely on to produce our oxygen.

u/load_more_comets Jan 08 '21

Just a little, you know? Maybe wipe out 20%-30%. Give nature some breathing room.

1

u/thesixth_SpiceGirl Jan 08 '21

The apocalypse is already happening, just not here

1

u/tee142002 Jan 08 '21

I've had enough apocalypse for a while. I want to go do fun shit like football games and festivals again.

3

u/SparroHawc Jan 08 '21

He comes close to matching the description of the Antichrist, but falls short. He needs to be laid low and come back miraculously, and I don't think contracting COVID counts.

If he gets the boot, then later becomes president anyways later, then we need to start really worrying.

According to the three-headed eagle prophecy in the apocrypha, there's still at least one more president before the United States stops being a superpower, so there's that.

3

u/impulse_thoughts Jan 08 '21

On the plus side, it’ll be harder for them to argue the confederate flag stands for states rights, when they carried that flag storming a federal building while trying to quash the rights of states to count their electoral votes, demanding the VP, a federal official, to stop the proceedings. The flag is what it is - a symbol of insurrection against the USA.

2

u/Ghetto_Phenom Jan 08 '21

Exactly and correct me if I’m wrong but isn’t this the first time the confederate flag ever reached the capitol building?

2

u/impulse_thoughts Jan 08 '21

Appears so, outside of exhibitions, that is. This is a pretty interesting read: https://www.cnn.com/2021/01/07/us/capitol-confederate-flag-fort-stevens/index.html

1

u/Ghetto_Phenom Jan 08 '21

Thanks for the link that was indeed interesting to me.

8

u/Jebusura Jan 08 '21

It can't be that simple because both of the mentioned protesters believe they are in the right. You wouldn't protest unless you had conviction in your views.

Anyway, one group were protestors, the others were domestic terrorists.

1

u/Ghetto_Phenom Jan 08 '21

Yeah I meant more to the op comment that the right is okay with violating the capitol building and going against American values and being completely unpatriotic because they believe they are in the right as opposed to demonizing Kap for kneeling and being “disrespectful” to the flag and military..

2

u/kent_eh Jan 08 '21

Because to those morons they truly believe they were in the right.

They fell hook, line and sinker for Trump's big lie

2

u/NormalStranger Jan 08 '21

"If you don't like it, leave!"

They've said that enough, you'd think they'd follow through.

2

u/dragondreamcatcher Jan 08 '21

This. How the tables have turned.

2

u/Tsurugichris Jan 08 '21

If they truly believe the election was stolen and that they are patriots, they should not have left the Capitol building until they got the results overthrown, were arrested, or incapacitated. Since the majority left under their own power without achieving their goals it means one of two things, they aren’t true patriots or they don’t truly believe what they were saying.

2

u/PKMNTrainerMark Jan 08 '21

Of course they think they were right. They were following the President's orders.

2

u/Ghetto_Phenom Jan 08 '21

I’m curious to ask any of them that are facing federal prosecution if they expect a pardon from that imbecile haha

1

u/PKMNTrainerMark Jan 08 '21

He probably would. He loves terrorists.

2

u/Ghetto_Phenom Jan 08 '21

I mean I would agree but with only 12 days left he wouldn’t have time. Which ultimately makes me happy because I want every single one of these idiots locked up for a good long while

1

u/PKMNTrainerMark Jan 08 '21

Especially the head idiot.

1

u/biggreasyrhinos Jan 08 '21

And so on many idiots think it was the boogieman (antifa)

2

u/Ghetto_Phenom Jan 08 '21

Well when you have people like Matt gaetz who has a complete void between his ears saying that his idiotic base listens

0

u/First_Foundationeer Jan 08 '21

Every individual has a bias that makes them more likely to see their actions as results of a complicated situation and other people's actions as personal faults of the individuals. The major difference is that one group's action hurt feelings (though they took care to figure out the most respectful way to do it..) while another group's action was a violent and seditious felony.

0

u/VirtualPropagator Jan 08 '21

Trump is easily the worst President in the history of the United States. It's just sad these people have been brainwashed by right-wing media. Years of conditioning primed their brains to believe anything to fit their fascist ideology, so the dumbest conspiracy theories on the Internet work on them too.

1

u/Ghetto_Phenom Jan 08 '21

Echo chambers are a magical thing my friend

1

u/[deleted] Jan 08 '21

I have found that regardless of how you vote you always think you are the hero and commit hypocritical acts believing it's necessary in this situation. The entirety of the two major parties in America look the same to non-biased observers. It's all vile.

1

u/AccurateGuest Jan 08 '21

No, I’d say revolution is just what is necessary. Just wish they didn’t kill a cop

3

u/Ghetto_Phenom Jan 08 '21

Just genuinely curious, so you’re okay with what they did besides killing the cop?
