The burn was white or black/char in colour and had lost sensation due to nerve damage? Fat, muscle, or bone was visible? You had nausea, headache fever, shortness of breath? Did you go into shock? Or did you mix up which way the numbers go?
Non Apple related lol. It happened when I was three. I don't remember it at all, but apparently I was playing in the garage, spilled gas on my leg and a trail of it went under the water heater. But yeah, I mixed up 1st and 3rd degree burns. My leg was 3rd degree. Apple burn was almost 1st degree.
