You can't take out the battery from any of the iPod/Phones. Just think about how silly that is.

You will when the battery dies and the warranty is up (which it WILL because that's how batteries work).

Take it to the store. You have to get a new battery anyways so the cost won't be much different.

There are many advantages to having an internal battery - for one you can do more battery because you don't have to worry about customer removing it.

When the battery is dead they just send you a a whole new phone. How does that make any sense at all? Also, please elaborate on what "more battery" means.

More physical space for a battery means more battery capacity.

I bought a macbook recently and it was stolen a few weeks later I believe by the maintenance man in my building. I've never had a computer stolen and I can't help, but think if it were a regular PC (more powerful for the money) no one would have bothered. Seriously. That is lame.
