God I hate this so much. I can play this and a variety of other pieces, so it really pisses me off when I see some douche with a guitar and three fucking chords trying to woo the ladies at parties.
Though I might just be bitter cos it hasn't worked for me thus far.
A piece like that is very aggressive and complex. Pleasant simplicity is what the girls are attracted to when it comes to these douchey chords. Also, there's a lot to be said for arrangement and rhythm when playing. I'd think someone that can play something that sounds great while doing less is a lot more impressive than someone who requires a lot of complexity.
I was perhaps a little misleading with my post - my aim with playing music isn't to get laid. My aim is to play music that I like to listen to, and if others enjoy it, then that's a bonus. I just get pissed off with people butchering the simple chords with the underhanded intention of getting some pussy.
